People in Colour

I am a figurative artist based in the UK. I like to use expressive colour and brushwork to create portraits where a mood or imagined narrative takes precedence over the identity of the subject. 

Primarily, I paint on board with acrylic. The quick drying time suits my technique of overlaying unmixed colours, building the image with each layer of paint. 

I am available for commissions and have a number of original pieces available.
